Alla Rakha Rehman's live-in concert in the City of Pearls proved to be an affair of first-class musical excitement.  Zany and entertaining, the event saw the genius perform before thousands at the evening meant to rake funds for the flood-affected population of Andhra Pradesh (once in a thousand years flood in the first week of Octover devastated thousands of villages).  Christened as Jai Ho Concert, the event was a huge success and an experience die-hard fans of the maestro will remember throughout their lives.

Hosted by GMR Hyderabad International Airport Limited, the event saw extensive arrangements for security and other aspects.  Not just the airport authorities, even the police and and some government departments worked in close tandem to ensure that the gala event went without any untoward happenings.  A bravura carnival of music, song and dance, the event has now become every Hyderabadi's proud memory.
