As we said earlier, Sri Ramadasu is a confirmed hit.
The makers of the movie know it and naturally held a success meet at the Prasad labs yesterday. And the highlight of the occasion was the presence of Chiranjeevi, who couldn't stop praising the movie.
Murali Mohan and Tabu also spoke.
But it was Chiru who hogged all limelight. Naturally.
Chiru, who said he saw the film with his family in Prasad Labs, wanted to call Nagarjuna and director K Raghavendra Rao immediately. But as it happened, he ran into them while come out. 'But I was almost tongue-tied as the film had moved me so much'.
Chiru had fulsome praise for Nagarjuna. Recalling his surprise when Nags was cast in Annamaiya, Chiru said he had wondered how Nags was going to fit into the scheme of things in such a movie. 'After Annamaiya I was impressed. Now after watching Sri Ramadasu, I am doubly so.'
He also praised Raghavendra Rao for his focus and dedication even after doing 100 films.
Chiru congratulated producer Konda Krishnam Raju for making bold to finance this movie.
Nags was humility personified. He thanked everyone and specially complimented the entire team (Raghavendra Rao, Keeravani and Konda Krishnamraju).
Nags also said that he learnt a lot during the making of the film. Traditional and spiritual values were among them. Nags also quipped that he learnt to be big-hearted from Chiranjeevi. 'He (Chiru) was so sportive that he wanted to share it with the world'.
Tabu, who described Nags as a close friend, said she was amazed to see such a movie. |
