The audio launch of the most talked about film in Telugu now, Pokiri, was a smashing show.

The father of the film's hero and  a star in his own right, Krishna, was the cynosure of all eyes as he launched the film's audio at the Viceroy  Hotel. When the son and the film's hero Mahesh Babu received the first copy, the feeling was one of happiness all around.

The function was almost a family affair with Krishna and his wife Vijaya Nirmala hogging the limelight. Mahesh's wife, the beautiful Namrata, was also a striking presence at the function. Mahesh's sister Manjula (who is also producing the movie), Sanjay, Bhagawan, Danayya, Chalasani Ramesh, Sayaji Shinde and Ileana were among those present.

Krishna hoped that Pokiri would be a big hit to give Mahesh the right impetus for the year. Vijaya Nirmala too expressed similar sentiments and revealed that Mahesh had put in lot of efforts for the movie.

Director Puri Jagannadh said the film was a well-created package.

Pokiri stars Mahesh, Ileana, Sayaji Shinde in the main leads. The story is set in the backdrop of land mafia.

The audio would be available from April 6. The film is set for release in the last week of April.
