Mayabazaar is an important film in Telugu film history. So when a film of the same name is being made, there is a huge expectation.

And it is even more heightened as the award-winning Mohana Krishna Indraganti is directing it.

The muhurat of the new Mayabazaar starrer Raja and Bhoomika in the main leads was held yesterday.

Ramesh Prasad clapped the movie to a start, while DV Narasa Raju switched on the camera.

Satyam produces the movie under RKK Films banner.

He said that the film would be ready by August and released by September.

Mohana Krishna Indraganti, whose Grahanam was an award-winner said, the story of Jaya Kumar was an outstanding one. 'Myth, Money, Magic’ is the tag line.

He assured that Mayabazaar is the most apt title, but has no connection of the legendary film.

Radhakrishnan, who scores the music, was sure that the movie would create history.

Bhoomika Chawla said, she was impressed with the story that she agreed to it immediately.

Raja said, he was very confident that the movie would do well.
