Can entertainment and a good cause mix?

Yes, it can. Producer Venkat of Mayajalam showed us through the audio launch of his latest movie Mayajalam.

The audio launch incorporated a smart entertainment show even while the producer announced the donation of Rs. one lakh each to five institutions of charity.

Director SVK also announced that the proceeds from the audio sales would go to charity.

On the whole, the function, held at Shilpa Kala Vedika, was a grand success with S V Krishna Reddy, who has directed it, and its crew and cast having a whale of time.

Also at hand were veteran director K Raghavendra Rao, actor Jagapathi Babu, Kamalini Mukherjee, Deepa, Parchuri Venkateswara Rao, Tammareddy Bharadwaj, C Kalyan, Arjuna Raju.

Each song was unveiled by individual guests.

Glamour heroines Navaneet Kaur, Tanu Roy, Ankita and Abhinaya Sri added glitter to the event with their sparkling dance performances.

Nava Bharat Chowdary received the first cassette.

Srikanth and Deepa star in the leads of the film. The movie is set for release early May.
