Jagapathi Babu has set much store by Brahmastram. And he doesn't hide that feeling.
Feeling pretty relaxed about it all, Jagapathi Babu told newsmen that the character he was doing in the movie was pretty simple but interesting. 'I am playing the part of an innocent,' he said. But it is one that comes with lot of interesting twists.
Produced by N Surya Prakash and directed by R Sooriya Kiran, Brahmastram went on to the floors on Jagapathi Babu's birthday in February. The movie is now almost complete and is set for release later this month.
Apart from Jagapathi, the film stars Neha Oberoi, Kalabhavan Mani, Ashish Vidyarthi.
The director, Sooriya Kiran, felt that the movie has shaped up well. After the fiasco of Dhana 51, Sooriya Kiran needs this film to shape up well.
Sooriya Kiran described the producer as an understanding one. 'That is the reason why his film has come out well,' he said.
He also said that Jagapathi's character was well-etched while Kalabhavan Mani and Ashish Vidyarthi have also got very good roles.
Producer N Prakash Rao said he was also satisfied with the way things had panned out.
Surya Prakash Rao has produced the film on S P Creations banner and Vaibhava is composing the music for this film. |
