It was a night of gritty fun and nice feeling. The audio launch of Asthram, which stars Vishnu, was a grand success with Dasari Narayana Rao making his presence felt as the chief guest. He also released the audio.

Asthram, which also stars Anushka, is directed by Suresh Krishna.

Apart from the lead pair of the movie, others present at the function included Mohan Babu, Paruchuri Gopala Krishna, Parvati Melton, S A Raj Kumar, Karunya, Shibani Das, Maganti Babu, KC  Sekhara Babu, C Kalyan,  Bhogavally Prasad and Manoj.

Mohan Babu, who has pride in the growth of his sons, was dignity personified. He was happy that Vishnu was doing a film outside the home banner.

Referring to that, he said Ashtram has shaped up very well (Mohan Babu has already seen the rushes). He was happy with the efforts of Supreme Raju, the producer.

As a help to wannabe singers, there are separate tracks along with the songs.  Those who can sing the songs on the track can send it to Suprme Music. There is a prize awaiting those who give good vocalization.

S A Rajkumar, who is the music director of the movie, was also thrilled to be part of an important project. He said he had tried to give new thrust to each and every song in the movie.

Director Suresh Krishna, a man of few words, spoke about the movie very passionately.

A good entertainer, Ashtram would satisfy all. Speaking about his hero Vishnu, Suresh Krishna who has directed the likes of Kamal and Rajini in his career, said Vishnu had matured as an actor and the movie would provide opportunity for him to showcase his talents.

Vishnu was also simple in his speech. He was gung-ho about the project. He recalled his association with Suresh Krishna from the days of Rayalaseema Ramanna Chowdary.
