These are good times for Sneha.
The actress, with the pearly tooth smile, is the standout performer of the season.
Her roles in Sri Ramadasu and Dhoolpetta ---- two contrasts --- have won her admiration from all.
She is on a high in both Tamil and Malayalam.
She was earlier signed for a movie with Balakrishna.
And yesterday her movie Manasu Palike Mouna Ragam with got rolling. She was thrilled to be in a movie which gave heroine a pride of place.
Produced by Deva Kumar Reddy and directed by Nagabhushan, the movie will be a good entertainer.
Prasad clapped the boards while Geeta Krishna switched on the camera.
Later, Sneha, Deva Kumar Reddy, Nagabhushanam, KM Radha Krishnan, Sarath Kumar and Chandana Chakravarthy talked to the press. Deva Kumar Reddy said the movie speaks about true love and how selfless it is.
He had high hopes on Sneha, Vikramaditya and Nagabhushan.
Radha Krishnan, who is also on a high, was also spoken highly of.
The shooting will end in August and hopefully the movie should be ready by September.
Director Nagabhushan, who was an engineer with Southern Railways, and had been an assistant to many directors, said he was excited with his debut as a director.
Story and treatment will be the focus, he said. Sneha plays a tsunami victim, he revealed. So there is lot of contemporary touch to the movie.
Radha Krishnan said he had tried to be as different as possible. Semi-classical and western would be the flavor, he added. |
