The audio release of Junior NTR starrer Ashok was a grand function with the Kotla Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy Indoor Stadium overflowing with people and dignitaries.

Junior NTR formally released the audio and Sameera Reddy received the first cassette.

Other celebrities like K Raghavendra Rao, B Gopal, Y V S chowdary, V V Vinayak, Surender Reddy, C Aswini dutt and Valluripally Ramesh all released one song each.

Mani Sharma is the music director of the movie.

Junior NTR, who is very excited about Ashok, spoke in positive terms about the contribution of Surender Reddy, the film's director.

Though he said he was not speaking about the movie as yet, Junior NTR said we would see a different Junior NTR in the movie. 'The treatment is totally different,' he said of the director's contribution.

Junior NTR also due credit to his co-star Sameera Reddy. 'She has given a top class performance. She has also danced very well', he added.

Mani Sharma's music is scintillating and it was a pleasure to dance for the songs, Junior NTR gushed.

YVS Chowdary opined that Ashok would break all records and said Junior NTR would prove a point to his critics.

VV Vinayak also said that Surender Reddy and Junior NTR combination would work wonders.

Sameera Reddy showered praises on Junior NTR and said it was pleasure to work with Junior NTR for two consecutive films.

Producer Valluripally Ramesh said the film was set for release in July.
