Then she made her debut into films and turned into a film artiste by doing two Hindi films. She was introduced to the Telugu film industry as heroine through ''Gnapakam''. She narrated her experiences during the shoot of the Telugu film, her personal feelings and future projects to Indiaglitz.com in a brief chit-chat. She likes Amir Khan in Bollywood, watches Hrithik Roshan films.

She expressed her interest to pair up with Nagarjuna. Let us learn all those details from her.

    Over to Visakha Singh.

    What about your family background?

My father and mother hail from London. But presently we settled in Uttar Pradesh. Our father does 'Project Finance Business', while mom is a housewife. I have a sister and brother both younger than me. Ours is a perfect family.

    What is your life ambition?

Nothing exactly like something special. But I want to do good characters, play in good films and earn a good name as an artiste. That is all.

What kind of character do you want to do?

I like comical characters. I strongly feel that I would suit best to such characters.

You came from modelling. Do you find any difference between modelling and films?

Not exactly. Present modelling is natural. Likewise, there are 30 See Ads. But film is not like that. We need a lot of creativity. Cinema is totally different from modelling.

Tell us about your earlier films?

I did two films in Hindi. Both are ready for release. Likewise, 'Gnapakam' is my debut film in Telugu.

How is Hyderabad? How do you like it?

It is very good. Shopping and food are very good here. Whenever I find time like break in shooting, I used to go to Hyderabad Central to spend my time. Moreover, the Hyderabadi food is very spicy.

Who are your favourite hero and heroine?

In Bollywood, Amir Khan is my all-time favourite hero. Likewise, Hrithik Roshan has a very good look. I also like Tom Chris. In Telugu, I like Nagarjuna. When it comes to heroines, I like Rani Mukherjee in Black, Kajole and Tabu.

How do you do the characters?

I take each of my character in a challenging way. Definitely I would try to do good characters.

Tell us about your debut Telugu film 'Gnapakam'

'Gnapakam' means a good feel or memory. Really those who watch the movie would have a different feel. It is a very good and memorable movie. I think it is also a sensible love story.

What about your character in this film?

It is quite a responsible character. I will definitely earn a good name through this film. My character in this film would attract all classes and all age groups of audiences.

What about your hero Venkat in this film?

He is a very good person and a good friend of mine. He is a very good translator. He gave a very good performance in the film and showed good ease in dances. I am very for working with him.

What about director Uppalapati Narayana Rao?

He himself a great artiste. He explains each scene including expressions by acting himself. He is a wonderful creator. He is like a teacher for me. I am very happy and feel very lucky for working with him in my debut film.

Tell us about Jerman Town banner?

They too entered into the film industry for the first time and they ensured that each frame in the film look very rich. They gave us a feeling that we are not working with debutant producers.

    How was your shooting experience?

We did the film in a very joyful mood and we enjoyed the shooting a lot. Most of the film was shot abroad. The environment is very cool and we were forced to use sweaters. Once we entered into India, it is quite hot. We have a different experience staying abroad and returning to India. We enjoyed the entire shooting period.

How was the music in this film

The music in this film is really fantastic. For me, I liked songs like 'Rara Bangaaram…, Muvva Gopala…, O Cheliya… Nuvve Nuvve…' in the movie and I keep on listening them. I love Gnapakam audio.

What are your projects in modelling?

I did very bid commercial ads for 'Parachute and Motorola'. I did many more ads. In fact I got a chance into films through modelling only.

Had you not been a heroine, what you would have been?

I would have entered into some creative work. It may be direction, acting or writing. If not I would have shown interest in some project.
