Charan and DSP coming together has been a much-waited for event. Yevadu is definitely an entertaining piece, but not among the best of DSP's works.
A range of singers and lyricists do full justice, much like DSP's previous co-talent.
Artist: Suchit Suresan
Lyricist: Krishna Chaitanya
Suchit Suresan's vocals sound refreshing. It will be interesting to watch Charan jiving for a song like this. DSP has not unveiled anything new for the hero-centric song of one of the most awaited movies. Krishna Chaitanya's lyrics have an old ring.
Artist : Sirivennela Seetharamasastry
Lyricist : Karthik, Shreya Ghoshal
Sirivennela's lyrics are quite impactful for this song. Shreya Ghoshal's mellifluous rendering only enhances the beauty. Not to be left behind, Karthik lives up to our expectations. DSP scores brownie points with his instrumentation and melodious instrumentation.
Artist: Ramajogayya Sastry
Lyricist: Ranjith, Mamta Sharma
One can easily guess that the song was birthed by Ramajogayya Sastry without even looking at the credits. The lyrics are not unnecessarily pregnant with double entendre. It is one of the cleanest item songs. Ranjith rocks, Mamta Sharma rocks better. The song brims with DSP's musical integrity.
This is one of the most unique songs DSP has scored in the recent past. The music is intense; it seems to be a situational song that comes at a crucial point in the story. The instrumentation is bang on and Chandrabose is at his best. He pens lines that surely suck us into the hero's turbulent and anguished state of mind. Complementing the wonderful work is KK, whose vocals are a big plus. The best song of the album.
Artist: David Simon, Andrea
Lyricist: Sri Mani
Sri Mani pens lyrics which are much like conversations. David Simon and Andrea deliver a dekko output, to say the least. DSP passes muster with a routine music.
Artists: Sagar, Ranina Reddy
Lyricist: Ramajogayya Sastry
Words like "Baby Bullet" and other English words from Ramajogayya Sastry indicate his desire to creatively employ even the technological jargon. Sagar and Ranina Reddy fit the bill. DSP's music for this number reminds us some other of his numbers.
