 Comedy has been one genre that has been getting the maximum response from the audience and though its motive has always been entertainment, there are times when such movies also have a message.
This time, it is the turn of one such movie which deals with the subject of vegetarianism and non-vegetarianism. Those who have been followers of the famous music channel Channel ‘V’ must be familiar with this. We are talking about the character ‘Quick Gun Murugun’ and now he is coming in the form of a film.
This has our very own Rajendra Prasad as the hero while the thunder thigh beauty Rambha is the leading lady. The film also has Vinay Pathak, Ranvir Shorey, Sandhya Mridul, Ashwin Mushran along with others. This is made under the banners of A Phat Phish Motion Pictures and Fox Star Studios. The director of this happens to be Shashanka Ghosh and the story revolves around this sincere south Indian cowboy who believes in loyalty and promoting vegetarianism.
He gets into a tangle with the local villain Rice Plate Reddy at a small village and it goes on to various places. There is also a love angle to Murugun which revolves around Locket Girl while Mango Dolly is also in love with him secretly.
The film is being released in Hindi and English and this will be having a worldwide release this Friday.
Apparently, this has taken Rajendra Prasad to a new record for being the only south Indian actor to become a hero in an international project as per sources.
