 Ever since movies like ‘A film by Aravind’ ‘Manthra’ ‘Arundhati’ have been creating great waves all across the Telugu circuit, more and more film makers have been trying to come up with similar tales.
However, this time, there is a new movie which is currently gearing up for release and this is slated to be more of a psychological thriller. We are talking about the film ‘Kavya’s Diary’ and this has been in the pipeline since quite a while but now it is gearing up for release.
The film has the charming beauty Charmee along with the highly talented hero Shashank and most importantly, this marks the comeback of Manjula who was off the hook for almost two years. The film is being directed by Karuna Prakash while Sanjay Swarup happens to be the producer.
The movie also has Indrajith and Satyam Rajesh playing key roles in the support cast and the story is set on the backdrop of a closely knit family.
However, the diary that has been written by Kavya (portrayed by Charmee) is said to be the key element of suspense and it is also said that Charmee has shown two sides of the coin, one as a good girl and then having some grey areas which send shivers down the spine.
The film is being made under the Indira Productions banner and the dialogues have been written by Vamsi. The music for the film has been composed by Manu Ramesan and cinematography is by Shyam Datt.
Inside sources reveal that this will be more of a ‘Sleeper hit’ as in something that starts slowly at the box office but eventually picks up. This is a crucial venture for Charmee since her past few movies have been bombing at the box office and it is also a key one for Shashank since he has been trying hard to make his mark as a hero.
Perhaps the acting mettle of Manju also will be tested in this one given the thriller element in it. The film was due for release way back in the month of January but then it has been getting postponed due to some or the other reasons.
