 Off late, the response for horror and thriller flicks has been quite good and though many say that it was with the arrival of ‘Arundhati’ that things changed, it must be admitted that it was with films like ‘A film by Aravind’ and most importantly ‘Manthra’ that things changed.
Now, here is one more movie which is being considered as a thriller genre but inside sources also say that this has got horror elements in it. We are talking about the new movie ‘Diary’ and this one has got the highly talented Sivaji as the hero while the hot and sexy Shraddha Das is the heroine.
The film is being deemed as the sequel to ‘Manthra’ as the same team has been making this one. This one also has Jeeva, Siva Prasad, Harshavardhan, Sridhar Rao, Sajita as the supporting cast and the film is being directed by Machakanti Ramakrishna while the producer of the film are the duo of Chukka Kalyanram and Megha Shyam.
The film is being made on the banners of Great Ocean Entertainment and Zentex Movies.
The makers say that the title has got a strong link with the story so that forms the suspense here. Shraddha is said to have come up with an exceptional performance in this one. This venture is a crucial one for Sivaji as he is the hero and he has been reeling with constant flops.
Ironically, ‘Manthra’ was his last success and after that nothing much happened in his career. The story is said to be taking place on the backdrop of an old bungalow and few incidents that take place tend to send shivers down the spine.
