Movie: Nenu Cast: Naresh, Veda, Abhishek Music : Vidyasagar Director : E.Satti Babu It's a season of re-makes in Telugu filmdom. Cheran's Autograph and Vikram's Saamy are being remade in Telugu, while S J Surya's New is simultaneously being made as Naani with Mahesh Babu in leadrole while Srikanth's April Madhathil is dubbed for release. Naresh's forthcoming release Nenu is a remake of the Tamil blockbuster Kadal Kondein which brought stardom to actor Dhanush in Kollywood. E Satti Babu directs this film produced by Mullapudi Brahmanandam. Allari Naresh play the lead role played by Dhanush in the original. Actress Veda acts opposite Naresh. Sonia Agarwal played the same in Kadhal Kondein. Abhishek is also in the cast. The story is of Naresh, an orphan and a psychopath who meets a lovely girl in college and becomes obsessed with her looks. After realising that she likes another classmate (Abhishek), Naresh still continues to love her and slowly turns a killer. It is all about obsessive love and the film has a riveting climax. Vidyasagar has scored the music. For those cribbing about there are dearth of heroines from Andhra Pardesh in Tollywood, Veda is a daughter of the soil. | |||
