Laddu Baddu Movie Review - Beware, He Might Crush You

IndiaGlitz  [Wednesday, March 19, 2014]

This is a synopsis of 'Laddu Baddu'. Be sure to check the review first on IndiaGlitz!

The first look of Allari Naresh - Ravi Babu's 'Laddu Babu' has stunned the audiences, especially when they learnt that it was Naresh. With a Nutty Professor like looks, the bloated Naresh seems like ready to explode any moment. Kids will love the look for sure...

Naresh has effortlessly slipped into the shoes of Rajendra Prasad who has left the Comic-Superstar slot vacant for a while. With regular releases at an average of almost 4 films every year and a very good strike rate, Naresh could clearly carve the niche for himself, a place unthinkable for anyone else.

Ravi Babu, who has a style of his own in designing the film right thru the production, pre-release promotion till the release is directing his debut film hero 'Alalri' Naresh after twelve years and ten films. Ravi kept the film's production almost under wraps and times the first look well to seize the curiosity of his audiences.

The theatrical trailer tells the story of a heavy weight love affair between Naresh, Poorna and Bhumika Chawla. A first good look at the trailer sounds similar to Krishnudu - Sonia's 'Vinayakudu' but one tells oneself 'wait, you can relate the looks of Naresh to that of Krishnudu, but how on earth can you compare the styles of Ravi Babu and Sai Kiran...'

Ravi Babu promises that the movie will be a laugh riot what with the heavy set Naresh's every move tickles the bones and makes one laugh. But there is always a danger with Ravi's slapstick comedy, at times vulgar in nature that it might turn out to be a laugh-at stock than a laugh-with material.

So, one needs to wait till the 28th March and watch the film on the big screen for the truly 'larger-than-life' Naresh falling on you...
