A family of a beautiful doctor begins to get harassed and they have no clue as to who is the person. Whether it is an old enemy or someone who is mentally deranged or a known person trying to cause trouble, let us see who that ‘one man’ is..
Story
The beautiful doctor Pavitra (madhurima) is a known psychiatrist and she is popular in the police department too as she has her own ways to catching hold of the criminals through her methods. On the other hand, there is a lawyer Sri Krishna (suresh gopi) who deals with his cases in his own way and for this, he takes the help of his assistant bongarala Bujji (ajay) in dealing a specific case of a fake swamiji. Meanwhile, Pavitra has a problem with her brother in law who wants his daughter back and the kid is growing with Pavitra. Since her brother in law happens to be a alcoholic she doesn’t want to give the kid away. From then on, trouble starts for her and her family and they are under constant fear due to a stranger. Who is that person? What is the motive behind the person’s acts? All this forms the rest of the story.
Performances
Ajay came with a staggering performance and it must be said that he has a long way to go if he has to prove his mettle as a hero. The saving grace for the film has been Madhurima who oozed her oomph generously and gave a visual feast to the audience. Suresh Gopi could not make his mark, Nazar was regular, Vijayachander did his bit with grace. M S Narayana was okay, Dharmavarapu was regular, Master Bharat did his bit with élan, Sunil could not impress.
 Technical aspects
The dialogues were just okay and the script had few flaws, the screenplay was dull and though the songs were okay, the background score could not create an impact. Cinematography was alright and editing was needed badly at many points. The costumes were alright and the art department showed their presence with their work during the songs and few other scenes.
Director’s portrayal
The director came up with a routine storyline and though the presentation was alright, he was not successful in coming up with a strong narrative. The script did not have much strength so the director had to produce a gripping screenplay which did not happen. Also, he was unable to extract the right kind of expressions from the lead hero who shouldered the key part of the movie and this caused a setback. The director was focused more on the presentation aspect and failed to work on the content and the quality of the storyline.
Critic’s view
The film could have turned out to be a perfect thriller but then it lost out majorly due to a major length problem. It ran for upto 2.45 hours and one can imagine the plight as there was nothing tense and exciting there. The only reason the audience was still hanging around was due to the beautiful Madhurima, otherwise there was practically nothing that they could hold on to their seats for. The comedy track was weak despite the presence of big names and this is also another negative aspect. There is no pace in the film and while the first half goes about with the dull etching of the plot, the second half gets into a rather slow and testing climax. This has few glamour elements for the mass audience but there is no quality or stuff to impress the other genres of audience.
Verdict
Not worth, forget it!!
