 Gopichand had earned himself a mass image with films like ' Yagnam and Ranam'. Chandrasekhar Yeleti, whose earlier films 'Aithe and Anukokunda Oka Roju' have a tint of difference, came up with a good script, which fits Gopichand to the T.
Cherry who worked as executive producer, ventures into production with this film. The backdrop of the film is perfect for action, and a major part of the film was shot in Mumbai.
Gautami (Neha Jhulka) is a real estate agent in Mumbai, helps Gowri Shankar (Suman) of Hyderabad to sell his guest house in Mumbai. As per the agreement there is three months time for registration. However, Gowri Shankar's son Kiran (Gopichand) calls on Gautami and demands the money. Gautami tries hard to convince Kiran, but the latter wants to finalize the deal saying he is in a mess and urgently needed money.
 On the other hand, there is a mafia don called Sona Bhai (Mahesh Manjrekar), who needs urgent heart transplant and is looking for a person who has a typical blood group called Mumbai Group. Incidentally, Kiran is a match and the goons chase him.
However, Kiran escapes thanks to the nephew of Sonu Bhai (Rahul Dev), who is eyeing his uncles property. From then on the audiences are trated to the sights and sounds of Mumbai, with the chase sequences between Kiran, Gautami and Sonu Bhai's men.
Kiran reveals to Gautami that his father started a private bank and filed bankruptcy. In a bid to save his self-respect, he needs urgent deposits from other banks to safeguard the interests of customers. They approach finance secretary JanakiRam (Tanikella Bharani) who could influence the RBI, but the latter demands Rs 4 crores as bribe.
At this juncture, Sonu Bhai's friend Jayadev (Nazar) calls up Chandrasekhar and promises Rs 200 crore deposit in his bank. Following a call from his father Kiran meets Jayadev and Sonu Bhai, who agree to deposit the money but in return demand Kiran's heart. Kiran falls in the classic dilemma of his life or his father's self-respect.
Gopichand with his histrionics and action timing is the highlight of the film. The action scenes by Allan Ameen and Ram Laxman, keep the audience on the edge of their seats. Cinematography by Jayakrishna and the use of digital intermediate technology in action sequences and a couple of songs was quite appealing.
 Chandrasekhar Yeleti, a champion of gripping screenplay passes yet again with flying colours. Music by Keeravani is okay. Lack of a separate comedy track can have a negative effect on the film. The director was able to carry the whole film on action and was able to cater to the masses.
