The audio of Poola Rangadu, whose music is by Anoop Rubens, was launched yesterday at the Hotel Kakatiya, Hyderabad. The event was graced by the actor Manchu Manoj and 'Lovely' pair Aadi and Isha Chawla among others. Producer Anil Sunkara and directors Deva Katta and Harish Shankar were also seen.
Director Sukumar handed over the first copy of the CD to SV Krishna Reddy, K Atchi Reddy's close colleague. Veerabhadram, the director, expressed happiness over having got the opportunity to work with Sunil. He said that the film has come out so well because of the combined effort of all actors and technicians.
Sunil began by speaking in a light-hearted manner. He said, "The makers selected me for the hero’s role because they wanted to make a colourful film. Since I am black, they cast opposite me a fair heroine, Ishwa Chawla. This is not a new story. I was seen as a cowardly person in Maryada Ramanna; In this film, I am playing a patient person. I have always wanted to build a strong body as a child. If I could become slim for this role, it is because of Manoj and my coach, Karim. This is not an action movie. This is a full-on comedy entertainer."
K Atchi Reddy said that Sunil and Veerabhadram had worked hard to bring out the movie with high quality. He praised Anoop Rubens’ work and said that he will give the music for Autonagar Surya as well.
Manchu Manoj described Sunil as a good actor and a good dancer. "He has danced well in this movie. Hope Poola Rangadu will be a good hit."
SV Krishna Reddy said that perseverance and discipline will take one on the path to success, and cited the example of RR Movie Makers' Dr. Venkat, who does everything by planning in advance.
