If the audio release itself was so grand what would the film release be like?
Well, this was the single thought that struck everyone as the Balakrishna starrer Veerabhadra's audio was launched amidst unprecedented fanfare and people's participation.
There were any number of dignitaries, but it was Balakrishna and his countless fans who were the cynosure.
Held amidst a sea of people at People's Plaza near Necklace Road, the event was a complete success.
Among those present were Ramanaidu, Veerabhadra's producer Ambika Krishna, MLK Chowdary, MRV Prasad, YVS Chowdary, EVV Brahmanandam, Veerabhadra's music director Mani Sharma, Anjaneya Pushpanand, Marudhuri Raja, Sana, Ramprasad , Gautamraju, Rallapalli, Kishan Reddy, Kovai Sarala, Padmanabham and the film's director Ravikumar Chowdary.
Ramanaidu released the cassette and gave the copy to Balakrishna's fan Sripati Rajeswara Rao. Jana Reddy released the CD and gave it to Ramakrishna.
Producer Ambika Krishna was a happy man and his speech, full of goodwill and pleasantries, was very appropriate to the occasion. He paid encomiums to Balakrishna. He said the film would be a complete package.
Director AS Ravikumar Chowdary said he was lucky and privileged to have directed Balakrishna.
Heroine Sada also said that she was happy to have worked with Balakrishna.
Balakrishna, for his part, was humility personified thanking everyone for their contributions to the movie. Saying that Veerabhadra was an apt title for movie, he said his fans would find all that they want to see in the film. Home Minister Jana Reddy and BJP ML Kishan were special invitees for the function.
Veerabhadra is set for release in April.
