Sathyaraj is a old war horse but running steady in Kollywood.

With almost half-a-dozen movies in his kitty, the actor has a release almost every two months.

Asked how he manages to have offers pouring his way, a frank and an out-spoken Sathyaraj says, 'it's very simple. I charge very less to act in movies. Moreover there is minimum guarantee for my films at the box-office. If I decide to take a huge salary, I might end up doing just a couple of films every year and spend the rest of my time watching mega-serials on the television'.

An villain-turned-hero, Sathyaraj says, 'I sometime wonder why there aren't many actresses playing villainous roles. However I take solace with the fact that all mothers-in-laws are portrayed as villains today that it doesn't require an actress to play baddie in movies these days'.
