Actress Charmi made her debut with T Rajendhar's Kadhal Azhivathilai opposite Silambarasan. Unfortunately her subsequent films did not do well in Tamil leaving her to try her luck in Tollywood.
Thanks to a string of hits, Charmi has emerged a front-runner there. With her recent release Style doing well and her Pournami ready to hit the theatres, Charmi is keen to emerge numero uno in Tollywood.
Asked why only glamorous roles in Tollywood, Charmi says, 'it is incorrect to say so. Anukokonda Oka Roju featured me in the role of a student activist and the film itself was about women's issues.Â
The sweet news for this young actress is that she is eyeing to make her comeback in Tamil.
'A couple of big production houses have approached me. I will accept offers from Tamil soon', she says.
