Earlier news had been abuzz about Pooja Bhatt’s forthcoming thriller ‘Bad’, starring Randeep Hooda in lead. Latest development on movie’s front is that the makers have changed the title of the project. The film will be now called ‘Main Aur Charles’ instead of ‘Bad’.

The film, being directed by Prawaal Raman, is reported to be inspired by the most sensational jailbreak from Tihar Jail and about the Charles Sobhraj case in India. Former Delhi supercop Amod Kanth who was handling the case at that time has been roped in as a consultant on the film. In fact, Prawaal Raman said to have made the movie on the events Amod Kant witnessed during the case. Incidentally the rights have also been acquired from Kant by Raman.

Actor Randeep Hooda portrays the character of Charles Sobhraj in the film; while the plot of the film revolves around the well-known case of serial killer’s escape out of Tihar Jail in 1986. The shoot has been completed for the film, the release date of which will be soon announced.
