According to the latest report from Chennai’s Box-office, Kamal’s ‘Unnaipol Oruvan’ is still ruling the first place.

Have to mention that the positive review about ‘Unnaipol Oruvan’ has actually boosted the collection. The film has seen a collection of 1.6 crore is Chennai alone in the last 10 days.

Films including Bharath’s ‘Aarumugam’ that released last week have come down as a shock to the distributors as the films witness a dreary reception.

In fact the good reception for Director Arivazhagan’s ‘Eeram’ has enlightened the future of Tamil cinema. The film has earned about 91 lakhs till now and is enjoying the second place.

‘Ninaithale Inikkum’ has become the silent killer which is enjoying the third place. The film has got Sun Picture’s promotional support as the reason of its survival. The film has touched 1.55 crores as its total collection, at the end of 3 successful weeks.

The next one in the list that is struggling hard to be alive is Bharath’s ‘Aarumugam’. The film was not able to get anything more than 6.8 lakhs as it’s collection till now!

Debutant director Nandhini JS’s romantic comedy ‘Thiru Thiru Thuru Thuru’ has managed to survive in the ‘A’ centres but sadly failed to impress the ‘B’ and ‘C’ centres. So, the total take-home for the first three days is 5.6 lakhs.
