Director Cheran today met Tamil Nadu chief minister M Karunanidhi in a surprise visit that has set the rumour mills rolling.

Cheran went to the residence of the chief minister this morning and met him. He said the meeting was only a courtesy call and he also talked about the details of his films he is doing currently to the chief minister.

But roumor mills have started rolling with the assumptions that Cheran might have also asked for some help to his couple of big budget movies under production.
