The second film direction of KM. Chaitanya ‘Suryakanti’ went on the floors on Sunday morning. The famous director of South India AR Murugadoss stored the first shot of the film while Girish Karnad and Dr. Jayamala sounded the clap board and switched on the camera. Karnataka state information minister Katta Subramanya Naidu lighted the lamp on this occasion.

Music maestro Illayaraja has scored music for two songs of Chaitanya’s debut film ‘Aa Dinagalu’ and in the second film the maestro scores six songs for the film.

At Dharmagiri Sri Manjunatha Swamy temple the maiden venture of producer M Vasu of Avighna Media was flooded with fans and industry people. The rage of Murugadoss the ‘Ghajini’ director added extra dimension to the muhurut function of ‘Suryakanti’.

Chetan who played the lover boy with action image in KM. Chaitanya’s ‘Aa Dinagalu’ is playing the hired killer role in this film with female counterpart Regina. According to Chaitanya the film ‘Suryakanti’ is poles away from realistic style. This film is a fantasy one. The shooting in 70 days will be shot in Bangalore, Belgaum and Uzbekistan said Chaitanya addressing the media. Ganesh Yadav, Ramakrishna, Hema Chaudhary, Mandip Rai are also in the cast.

Regina the heroine of Tamil films ‘Kandanaal Mudhal’ and ‘Azhagiya Asura’ who is facing the camera from second standard is the heroine of ‘Suryakanti’.
