'Chingari' in 175 theatres

The biggest opening is happening for challenging star Darshan 'Chingari' Kannada cinema today. It is releasing in 175 theatres on an average of 4 shows a day it makes 700 shows a day. On an average 500 people watch in one show it will be 3.50 lakhs and for four shows a day it will be 14 lakhs people watching 'Chingari' in Karnataka. On an average Rs.50 is the ticket price means per day collection will roughly Ra.70 lakhs for challenging star Darshan film.

The 'Chingari' release in maximum of theatres is a record in the books of the Kannada film history. Darshan earlier films 'Sarathi' was in 140 theatres and ‘Boss’ was in 135 theatres.

'Chingari' said to be having shades of 'Taken and Trade' by Mahashaila Cine Sankula is the third venture from humble producer Mahadevu and his son Manu Gowda. Yoganand Muddan and Santosh have penned the screenplay and dialogues for the film. V Harikrishna songs and HC Venu camera work are the other redeeming features of this film 'Chingari'.

Deepika Kamaiah is making debut opposite Darshan. Bhavana is in an important role. Srujan Lokesh, Yashas Surya, Pradip, Ramesh Bhat, Sumithra, Madhu, Theju, Vishwa are also in the cast.
