Megastar Chiranjeevi called up Kalyan Krishna and appreciated him on scoring a super hit with his very debut film, Soggade Chinni Nayana.

Speaking to the media, the director said that he was very happy to receive the call from his favourite matinee idol. In fact, he wanted to make the film with Chiranjeevi, but the circumstances didn't favour it. After Ram Mohan narrated the line to Nagarjuna, it was all Nag's!

Kalyan Krishna has known Chiru for many years. His first directorial was an ad for Praja Rajyam Party. Krishna's brother contested as a PRP MLA candidate and won in 2009.
