The 100 days function of 'Rangam' directed by KV Anand, presented by RB Choudary and produced by Kumar and Jayarami Reddy on the banner of Super Good Films Pvt Ltd was held at Big Cinemas theatre in Tirupati on August 28 on a grand scale.

Tirupati MLA Padma Bhushan, Mega Star Chiranjeevi attended the programme as a chief guest. Soon after Chiranjeevi entered the theatre, the audiences gave an applause for about five minutes and welcomed him.

Speaking on the occasion, Rayalaseema distributor and popular producer NV Prasad says, 'I have a close friendship with Chiranjeevi right from the early days of his career. He entered the politics and elected as MLA from Tirupati. I heartily welcome him for this function.'

Later Chiranjeevi says, 'I reached this stage as a Mega Star through a platform called film industry. Cinema is my life. I watched 'Ko', the Tamil version of this film and I liked the story and movement of the film with the help of screenplay. At a time when a film completing 100 days had become a rare phenomenon, a dubbed film, successfully completing 100 days is really great. The film had the stuff and hence the people made it so big hit. The point to mention is that KV Anand made a still photographer as a hero and narrated the risks and responsibilities of a still photographer. Jiiva too did a wonderful job and gave a great performance. He lived in the character. Ajmal too did an energetic character. Karthika too gave a good performance and proved that she is a worthy daughter of a worthy mother. She will have a great future. KV Anand, who is basically a cameraman, brought out each and every frame in a great manner. I request Anand to prepare a good story and do a film with my son Ram Charan and make it a big hit too.'

Later, the Telugu version producer Kumar thanked RB Choudary, NV Prasad, and Paras Jain for organising such a great function. He had also thanked the director, music director and the audiences for making the film a big hit.

Later, RB Choudary, Jeeva, KV Anand and Harris Jayaraj gave away shields to the distributors, while Chiranjeevi gave mementoes to the artistes and technicians of the film.
