Speaking at the audio launch of Gabbar Singh, Megastar Chiranjeevi put up a "We stand united" poster through his verbose speech. His speech was marked by display of emotion and expression of love for Pawan Kalyan, besides seeming an attempt to connect with his fan base. He said that he would often address Cherry as Kalyan and Kalyan as Cherry at home. "This confusion is due to my love and affection (for both)", Chiru said.

Reacting to a story which appeared in a Telugu publication which insinuated that Pawan did not make it to the Racha event even though he was very much in the town, Chiru lashed out saying, "We, the Mega family members, will never stoop to the level of lying to our fans. Pawan was not in Hyderabad that day. Charan would have made it to the event today, but he is busy shooting for Zanjeer. So, don't spin stories about his absence."

This was the first event in a long time where Chiru and Pawan shared the dais. With the media and netscape going viral suggesting rift between Pawan and Charan since 2009, he took the opportunity to reaffirm that they stand united. The Rajya Sabha member also prophesied that GS will be a bigger hit than Racha.
