More than a year after 'Desi Boyz', Chitrangda Singh would be seen as a leading lady all over again in 'Inkaar'. The film is coming at the time when a large number of audiences is looking forward to offbeat cinema that is also commercially viable.

For someone who is quite selective about her work, it is also being believed in the industry that if Chitrangda is the female lead in a film, it brings in further credibility into the project.

"Well, that is indeed flattering. However the way I look at this, it is Sudhir's characters that brings in credibility to the whole affair", says Chitrangda, "Like for example Soha Ali Khan's character in his 'Khoya Khoya Chand'; it was so strong and not in your face. There is nothing judgemental in there.

I love that kind of ordinariness that Sudhir brings to his characters."

She adds, "Of course, when Sudhir says that my face compliments the character that he writes, it is a good enough reason to be flattered and of course humbled."

With Arjun Rampal in lead, 'Inkaar' releases all over this Friday.
