Vineeth, who was shooting for 'Uliyin Osai', sustained serious injures. It is a movie inspired by Chief Minister M Karunanidhi's short story.

Vineeth, Keerthi Chawla and Akshaya play prominent roles in the movie which is directed by Illavenil and music by Ilayaraja.

Vineeth plays a sculptor. While shooting for a sequence, the actor unfortunately met with an accident and got hit in his left eye. He immediately cried for help.

Luckily, a doctor present on the sets rushed to his rescue. After an hour, the shooting resumed.
