After producing three successive hit films in Thamizh Padam, Vinnaithandi Varuvaya and Paiyaa the Chennai office of Cloud 9 Movies is struggling to handle aspiring visitors. The string of successes has made Dhayanithi Alagiri more responsible and the young producer doesn’t want to lose the momentum his Cloud 9 has gained.

To keep the success ratio high Dhayanidhi Alagiri has decided to make films with only reputed directors and stars for some more time and not to try anything with new comers. However the new aspiring directors are thronging Cloud 9 in large numbers and submitting their scripts.

From the reputed directors around 20 scripts have been received by Cloud 9 including from the likes of Kamal Haasan, K S Ravikumar, ‘Metti Oli’ Thirumurugan, SJ Suryah and others. Dhayanidhi Alagiri has constituted a 10-member team whose members are not associated with cinema in any way.
