Finally the Governor C.Vidyasagar Rao has arrived at Chennai and he has reached his official residence at Raj Bhavan a couple of hours ago.

At around 5 PM, the interim Chief Minister O.Panneer Selvam visited Raj Bhavan along with his supporters including ADMK Presidium Chairman E.Madhusudhanan.

It is to be remembered that on Sunday last, OPS had tendered his resignation and the Governor has duly accepted his resignation But on Tuesday OPS started a revolt by claiming that he was coerced to tender resignation and he is willing to withdraw it if people and party cadres wish so. He has also announced that he will prove the majority of his supporters and retain his position as CM.

After coming out of the Raj Bhavan the Chief Minister addressed the media. He said "We have talked in detail with the Governor. Good things will happen. Dharma will win at last.."

Meanwhile ADMK General Secretary V.K.Sasikala who has the support of over 130 MLAs of the party will be meeting the Governor to stake claim to form the Government as the new Chief Minister.

As of the political future of Tamil Nadu hinges on the decision of the Governor.
