CM to watch ‘Aptha Rakshaka’

The Karnataka Chief Minister, Dr BS Yediyurappa has evinced interest in watching ‘Aptha Rakshaka’ the 200th film of Dr Vishnuvaradhan one of these days informed producer of the film Krishna Prajwal addressing the media at the 50th day get together on Wednesday evening at Bengaluru City Institute.

Producer Krishna Prajwal agreed that ‘Aptha Rakshaka’ has earned gross of Rs.25 crores in 50 days. He has donated Rs.5 lakhs to the Flood Relief Fund to the Karnataka government and coming up with a huge statue of Dr Vishnuvaradhan at the memorial of the actor next to Abhiman Studio. Krishna Prajwal is contemplating on making the Hindi version of ‘Aptha Rakshaka’ starring Akshay Kumar. It was Akshay Kumar who appeared in the remake of ‘Aptha Mithra’ (original is Mani Chitrathal of Malayalam) that is ‘Bhool Bhulaiah’.

Only Avinash and Lakshmi Gopalaswamy turned up for the get together as other artists and technicians were busy in work.

”I am always ready to give respect and homage to Dr Vishnuvaradhan and this occasion I came here because of the respect I have on Vishnuji. The culture he has set in we have to live with it opined”, Lakshmi Gopalaswamy in her short address.

The splendid actor of Kannada cinema Avinash has signed for the Telugu version of ‘Aptha Rakshaka’ produced by Suresh starring the leading hero of Telugu cinema Venkatesh. Present on the occasion of 50th day get together said he is here today because of the affection he has on Dr Vishnuvaradhan.
