Superstar Rajinikanth is one celebrity who is admired and treated as a important person by all political parties. Though his long expected political plunge still remains a mystery, politicians from many parties meet him and also strengthen their friendship with him. Even last week, BJP leader Poonam Mahajan met the Superstar at his residence.

Now Tamil Nadu's veteran politician and the age old Congress party's state president Thirunavukkarasar met Rajinikanth at his Poes Garden residence in Chennai. Sources reveal that the meeting is not political and the politician came to invite Rajinikanth for his daughter's wedding. However it cannot be denied that the duo would have discussed the current political situation in TN during their meeting.
