She started tapping her feet in professional rhythm at age 6. She is fluent in more than ten dance forms - both Indian and dance styles from abroad. She is world-recognised for her feat of five hundred plus stage performances. She is Anushka Swamy, India's youngest choreographer. Anushka has worked with almost all leading artistes, on many of the massively successful projects, including 'Kochadaiiyaan', 'Velayutham', 'Manam', 'Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani' and 'Shuddh Desi Romance'.

Now the 'Aakko' has her on board. Directed by debutante Shyam, the film has the initials of "aarva kolaru" or "curiosity" as its title. The film is noted for the buzz of Anirudh's acting debut though it was later confirmed that he is to perform only a guest role in the film, apart from scoring its music.
