Court’s decision on Santhanam’s bail application

Actor Santhanam’s scuffle with a builder in which he allegedly entered a fistfight with a builder made news recently. 

A complaint was filed against the actor by the builder Shanmugasundaram after a physical fight brewed between the duo over money matters. In this regards, Santhanam had applied for an anticipatory bail in the court claiming the accusations to be false.

The actor also stated that he along with his manager had went only to seek the amount paid to the builder for which the builder hasn’t started works.

Today, the Chennai High Court gave Santhanam an anticipatory bail on the condition that he should report daily to the Valasaravakkam Police station for the ensuing two weeks.
