The City Civil Court in Hyderabad dismissed the petition filed by Vijayabhaskar Reddy, who claimed to be the actual title holder of ‘Khaleja’ as he registered the same in Film Chamber.

Stating that there is no infringement of Copyright Act, as the title approved by the Censor Board is ‘Mahesh Khaleja’ and both are different titles.

It is worth mentioning that Vijayabhaskar Reddy moved from pillar to post in the Telugu film industry, approached the producers council and other elders of the film industry, besides sought the help of different TV channels pleading for halt of the release the film. With no one coming to his rescue, he finally lodged a case in the court.

In fact, Nattikumar advised Vijayabhaskar Reddy not to move the court and go for an out of court settlement by accepting the compensation by the producers with mutual discussions.

Now all his doors were closed as he can’t even demand a compensation which the producers agreed to pay him earlier.
