Bala gets order from the Court

Popular screenwriter Rathnakumar has filed a petition in the court, citing that writer turned actor Vela Ramamurthy, who has assisted Bharathiraja in a few films has plagiarized his story Kuttra Parambarai` and Bala is making a film based on that.

Rathnakumar has sought the court to ban Bala and Vela Ramamurthy from making Kuttra Parambarai`. The court has ordered Bala and Vela Ramamurthy to file their reply regarding the matter. It may be recalled that Bharathiraja and Rathnakumar announced a film with the same title a few months back which sparked a controversy between them and Bala who also was keen to make a multistarrer based on Vela Ramamurthy`s version of the story.
