Chennai-600028, the most refreshingly entertaining movie, is now getting to start a new innings in Telugu.

The SPB Charan and J K Saravana produced and Venkat Prabhu-directed film is to be dubbed in Telugu as Kodithe Kottalira with the tagline Ee Kurranayalla Godavemito.

Since the film is about the most universal of ideas, that of male bonding and camaraderie, and cricket, the essential spirit of the film needs no special translation. The idea of Chennai-28 is very generic and full of fun, and hence would be very appealing to the Telugu audience.

The songs have been dubbed and are almost ready for release.

The film is expected to release in July.
