It seems that Pawan Kalyan and Bandla Ganesh may well do Gabbar Singh-2. That is because Bandla Ganesh has been promised to be sold the remake rights of Dabanng-2. This was revealed by none other than the comedian-turned-star producer himself. "They have sought our permission to use some scenes from Gabbar Singh for Dabanng-2. They have also promised us the remake rights of that movie," he said, without talking about the price allegedly paid by the producers of Dabanng-2 for using some scenes.

From what Ganesh said, it may be deduced that he and Pawan are eager to bring out a sequel to the BO blockbuster. "Actually Pawan Kalyan was to produce Gabbar Singh. He gave me the opportunity following the disappointment with Teen Maar's collections. I will continue to make films with him," he said adding that the film has been liked by some in Bollywood. "I have a desire to make films all the top heroes. Baadshah will go on the floors very soon."

He attributed the film's success, among others, to Devi Sri Prasad.
