With the completion of the shooting of Nag-Charmme item song, Damarukam's shoot has been finally wrapped up. Now in its post-production phase, the film will hit the screens on Oct 12.

Produced by Dr. Venkat of RR Movie Makers on a high budget, this is the first of Nag's socio-fantasy flicks in his illustrious career. Releasing as it does after Shirdi Sai, which belongs to an entirely different genre, the film stands good chances of being lapped up without any complaints.

As Damarukam and Shirdi Sai (which is releasing on Sep 6) are separated by several weeks, it is unlikely that there will be competition between the two.
