Vikram Bhatt very recently quoted that in Bollywood there are only two things that sell - Salman Khan and sensation. Not really making any bone about it, Vikram explains the reason why.

"If people are not seeing Salman, they want to experience sensation. They may want to cry or they may wish to get afraid in the darkness of a theatre but you have to sell sensation," says Vikram, "If you don't do that, you may end up making a competent film but not necessarily a sensational film. It was the case of my very own 'Phirr' that released last year. It was a good film but then it wasn't sensational. I didn't try selling any edge of the seat thrill or suspense due to which the film didn't do well."

Learning this lesson the hard way, Vikram is now making sure that his future crop of films, despite without any Salman Khan, manage to catch audience attention. "'Dangerous Ishq' as well as 'Raaz 3' would have suspense and drama as an integral part of the narrative. 'Hate Story' would be about hate and anger while '1920 - Evil Returns' would be about fear. I am primarily a fear peddler and it is this 'sensation' that I like to dabble with," he says.

Well Vikram, here is hoping you manage to sensationalise us enough!
