Darshan, Sudeep FF Award

Challenging star Darshan for his role in ‘Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna’, Kichcha Sudeep for his chilling performance in ‘Ega’ Telugu movie got major honors. Darshan was declared best actor while Kichcha Sudeep got the award for best supporting role in ‘Ega’.

Apparently both Darshan and Sudeep did not turn up for Film Fare awards event that went up to 1.30 am on last Saturday. Darshan best actor award was received by producer Anand Appugol who got the ‘Black Lady’ for best film to ‘Kranti Veera Sangolli Rayanna’. On behalf of Kichcha Sudeep for best supporting role to ‘Ega’ Telugu film his father Mr Sanjeev received the honor.

A challenging role for Priyamani as Siamese twin in ‘Charulatha’ got her the right recognition of best actress award.

The 60th Film Fare award was formally presented at Hyderabad on Saturday night in a glittering function. The south Film Fare award was filled with lot of cultural programs too.

Three awards went to ‘Sidlingu’ - Vijayaprasad direction, Suman Ranganath best supporting role and Avinash Chabbi song ‘Ellello Oduva Manasu…. Best supporting role was bagged by Atul Kulkarni for ‘Edegarike’ Kannada cinema.

It was the fourth award of Film Fare for music director V Harikrishna. This time he bagged for music to Drama, Indu Nagaraj for ‘Pyaar Ge Agbuttaithe….song of Govindayanamaha. Yogaraj Bhat for lyrics in ‘Drama’ got the award, Shwetha Srivatsav for best debut in ‘Cyber Yugadol Amara Madhura Kavya’ received the honors. Shwetha Srivatsav also performed for a song.
