Chandrakanth Dutta, who is debuting as a male lead with the film 'Prema Entha Madhuram Priyuralu Antha Katinam' says that he is proud to have done such a film.

"I was born and brought up in Hyderabad. I am an alumnus of Malla Reddy Engineering College, where I pursued by B.Tech. I went on to do Masters in AMS (Mechanical)," the fledgling actor quips.

Facing the camera is not new for the actor. "I started my acting when I was 7 years in my school play. I took acting as a career after finishing my 12th. My dad advised me to finish my Bachelors and then I can continue acting. I didn't know why my dad said that at that age, but it makes total sense now to me," Chandrakanth says.

"I moved to New York two years back to pursue my acting course. I attended the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute," he reveals.

"One day Govi sir (director) contacted me with the script offering me the lead role in the film. I always wanted to work with talented people that helps me to learn a lot in my pursuit," he signs off.
