Noted producer Rockline Venkatesh although not holding any position today in Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce key posts went at former vice President of KFCC to arrive at a truce with Odhu Gowder, the head of Hyderabad Karnataka Exhibitors Association. The outcome of the meeting is that Odhu Gowder will be releasing the Kannada film ‘Thamassu’ on Friday in Hubli and Mysore region.

‘Thamassu’ the debut direction of firebrand journalist Agni Sridhar starring Shivarajakumar and Padmapriya is hitting the 55 screens today and showing 200 shows a day. This is the fourth movie of Megha Movies. Agni Sridhar declared at the third film of Megha Movies ‘Kallara Santhe’ that he will take up any challenge in his directorial venture starring Shivarajakumar. Today he has won all the battles that came to ‘Thamassu’. Whether he is going to win the box office battle, time will answer this question.

Odhu Gowder and Mr Rockline Venkatesh had a meeting for four hours in Hubli on Thursday and arrived at an amicable solution. With that all the problems related to Hyderabad Karnataka exhibitors would be solved. One of the demands is that Kannada films are not given for release.

Only Bangalore exhibitors are taken note but other areas exhibitors are left careless is the point stressed by Mr Odhu Gowder.

The Karnataka state exhibitors Mahamandala has given time till July for Apex Body KFCC to solve the issue. It is learnt that the next month meeting of KFCC would be held in Hubli.
