Deepika Padukone has been caught up with back-to-back films, including her latest release, ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ (YJHD). But Deepika Padukone has no reason to complain, except maybe for the fact that she hasn't been spending any time with her family. The actor now plans on making it up to her parents (Prakash and Ujjala Padukone) and sister (Anisha), by taking them on a holiday. "As soon as I am done with my professional commitments, I am going to take a break and go on a family holiday," remarked Deepika.

The ‘Race 2’ girl feels blessed that her family has always been supportive and understanding about her busy schedule. She said, “In fact, whenever people ask me about them, I always say that they are my strength. They know that I am extremely busy and have no time to spend with them. Still, they have never complained. They understand me well. And I guess that’s what the family is meant for.”

In the past, there have been talks about how Deepika's packed schedule has also resulted in her missing out on big projects like Vikram Singh’s Ranbir Kapoor starrer, Roy. But the actor clarifies, "If I am letting go of a movie, there might be other reasons. If I really like a script, the producer and I can always work around dates. I have taken up only as much work as I can accommodate."

Deepika is currently wrapping up ‘Chennai Express’ and ‘Ram Leela’.
