Deepika will feature in Priyadarshan’s next starring Abhishek Bachchan. The comedy is produced by Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Limited.

Says Priyadarshan, “Abhishek and I have been planning projects together for the longest time. We were supposed to do a bio-pic on Chandrashekhar Azad. But who watches historicals anymore? I've finally zeroed in on the perfect project for Abhishek. We start shooting in July."

The movie will also have Deepika Padukone as Abhishek’s co-star... It must be recalled that Priyadarshan and Deepika had bitter times some time back when she refused ‘Pyrates’ for ‘Om Shanti Om’.

It seems time has blown away the smoke of hatred between Deepika Padukone and Priyadarshan. Says Priyadarshan, "We broke the ice during the song in 'Billu'. Now I've a role just right for her."
