Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone were cast to play the role of father-daughter in Shoojit Sircar`s 'Piku'. And now latest on this movie is that Irrfan Khan has been signed opposite Dippy to play his love interest...

Veteran actress Moushmi Chatterjee also plays a pivotal role in the film. 'Piku' is a beautiful story of a father-daughter relationship and will release in April 2015. Infact, the star cast will have to attend workshops in August this year before the actual movie rolls.

'Vicky Donor' writer Juhi Trivedi has written the story for 'Piku'. After this film, Soojit will start working on 1911, a football film starring John Abraham. Hamara Bajaj is another film which has been announced to be directed by Sircar. Hamara Bajaj will star Vicky Donor hit pair Ayushmann Khurana and Yaami Gautam. Infact this film will be produced by John Abraham..
